Like it or not, FQHCs are situated in the world of social media! This training will address how to remain compliant in this world but also utilize social media to the best advantage of the center. Join us for Part 1 as speaker Mara Lopez, Director of Marketing at Gateway Community Health Center presents best practices and specific tools center staff can use to market the center’s services and the positive impact they are having in the community, as well to best connect the center with its myriad partners.
The webcast series will offer advice and tools on how to use social media to improve the health center image and reach, and reminders about how to use policies, procedures, training and oversight to ensure social media use by center staff or even about the center by members of the public is compliant with:
- 330 grant and related program requirements for funding and use of social media
- Slander/libel laws
- Nonprofit law, for example with regard to connecting digitally with for profits
