Outreach & Enrollment
TACHC supports community health center Outreach & Enrollment (OE) staff to ensure that OE staff are prepared to explain health care insurance options to health center patients and consumers. In addition, OE staff work to identify that eligible but uninsured health center patients and consumers are enrolled in health insurance such as the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicaid and the Federally-Facilitated Marketplace. Health center staff who provide OE assistance include Certified Application Counselors trained and certified to assist consumers apply through healthcare.gov (the Marketplace) and Your Texas Benefits Navigators trained and certified to assist consumers apply through the state online system, YourTexasBenefits.com.
